- Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) not exceeding 3.500 kilograms and
- built and designed for carrying max 8 passengers excepting the driver.

- MAM not exceeding 750 kg
- more than 750 kg if the MAM of the car/trailer combination is not exceeding 3.500 kg.
Category B entitles driving three-wheeled vehicles in Germany.
In case the vehicle has more than 15 kw, the licence-owner must be 21 years old.

- MAM Trailer more than 750 kg and
- MAM Combination more than 3.500 and no more than 4.250 kg
No theoretical or practical test required. Only drivers training in the Driving School.
Category BE
Towing vehicle Category B with Trailer or Semitrailer.
- MAM trailer more than 750 kg and
- no more than 3.500 kg
Driving Training in the Driving School and driving test required.
